Overview

Responsible for full recruitment cycle, from job brief to placement, using AI tools for candidate screening.

Scope of work

• Take a job brief from a client and turn it into a role our systems can match against: the hard requirements, the certifications, what is genuinely negotiable.
• Source candidates through our database, LinkedIn, referrals and your own network, in disciplines you will learn: structural, process, E&I, piping, mechanical, QA/QC, commissioning.
• Qualify by conversation, not by keyword. Confirm availability, notice period, right to work, rate expectation and whether they actually want the job.
• Write and submit candidate dossiers in the Trees format, and defend your shortlist to the client.
• Coordinate client interviews across time zones, and prepare the candidate properly before each one.
• Keep the pipeline honest in the dashboard: where each person is, what happens next, and by when.
• Stay with a placement through offer, acceptance and start date, and know why anyone who dropped out did so.

Key requirements

• 2 years or more in recruitment, staffing or a client-facing role in engineering or a technical field.
• Comfortable holding a technical conversation with an engineer without pretending to be one.
• Genuinely organised.
• Working English, written and spoken.
• Right to work in Malaysia.
