Overview

Oversee FSRU-related activities including engineering, procurement, conversion, commissioning, and operational readiness.

Scope of work

The FSRU Manager is responsible for leading and managing all FSRU-related activities for the RGT Project from Pre-FEED and FEED through procurement, detailed engineering, conversion, commissioning, start-up, and operational readiness.

The position will oversee the technical, operational, and commercial interfaces among the FSRU, LNG carriers, offshore mooring facilities, pipelines, onshore receiving facilities (ORF), and associated infrastructure.

Responsibilities include managing FSRU providers, shipowners, consultants, and contractors to meet safety, performance, schedule, cost, and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead and manage the overall FSRU workstream, including planning, engineering, procurement, contracting, conversion, or new-build activities, commissioning, start-up, and operational readiness.
  • Develop and manage technical requirements, specifications, and Basis of Design, including LNG storage, regasification, gas send-out, utility, marine, and safety systems.
  • Oversee technical integration and interfaces among the FSRU, offshore mooring system, LNG carriers, marine facilities, subsea, and onshore pipelines, onshore receiving facilities, and associated infrastructure.
  • Lead FSRU tender preparation, technical bid evaluations, and assessments of FSRU providers, shipowners, contractors, and vendors.
  • Manage chartering, conversion, or new-build activities in coordination with the Commercial team, shipowners, shipyards, consultants, and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with classification society requirements, international LNG and marine codes, regulatory requirements, HSE standards, and Project specifications.
  • Oversee operational requirements including LNG storage, regasification, ship-to-ship transfer, marine compatibility, mooring, availability, reliability, and performance testing.
  • Lead safety reviews, manage risks, and provide updates and recommendations to senior management.
  • Assist the Commercial team with 'Open Season', ADP, nomination, and scheduling with the FSRU Operator.
  • Understand and comply with the Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) and Information Security Management System (ISMS).
  • Ensure safety and health procedures are followed in compliance with applicable rules.

Key requirements

  • - Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in LNG, FSRU, marine, offshore or oil and gas projects, including experience in a senior technical or management role.
  • - Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering, Chemical Engineering or another relevant discipline.
